On Hastings beach Saturday 13th will be the bonfire festival. Preceded by a torch lit procession starting from White Rock near Hastings Pier to Hastings beach. The festival commemorates the Battle of Hastings as well as the gunpowder plot, so basically any excuse to light a fire and set off some fireworks. No matter the reason this is good free event and gets the family / couples out to enjoy Hastings. Hastings has a lot of offer in terms of Heritage, Music scene, pubs, restaurants.
